Vote
Onchain governance to secure and grow the network.
Influence key decisions that will impact Flare’s development, security, and utility by participating in Flare governance votes.
After reading a governance proposal, vote for changes you believe will benefit Flare the most. For example, to pass a Flare Improvement Proposal (FIP), it requires more than 50% of the votes, subject to any additional governance rules.
Your voting power depends on the number of wrapped FLR (WFLR) you hold (1 WFLR = 1 vote). Use WFLR to support Flare’s growth and success.
Flare Foundation may suggest Songbird Testing Proposals (STPs) before suggesting a FIP. STPs voting is rejection-based (won’t be stopped unless more than 50% vote against it) to get testing started as quickly as possible.
Voting helps decentralize Flare and protect the network against malicious actors. The more participants involved, the stronger and more secure the network becomes.
